SUMMER

So, it's June! Exams are over, and as a reward I get to go to SPAIN!
Will be awesome. But I leave the day before the biggest party of the year... gutted =(
But I'm sure Spain will still be better than the party... I mean, I'll have a pool for ten days!

Spain is really hot and dusty. I've been there before, but when I was 10 or 11. The villa my family owns is in a complex. There is a square "circle" of villas all facing inwards towards a fairly large pool. Almost all of the other 10 or so Villa's are owned by Spaniards who rarely use the pool, so it's mostly used by us. The beach is also nearby and there are a lot of historic cities in close proximity. I remember visiting one once on the bus. I was really hot and the bus had no air conditioning. But back then all I wanted to do was to go to the pool. Now that I am older I am definitely more interested in the historic and cultural aspects of the locations I visit.

I also want to learn how to sail so I will be getting lessons on there!

Another thing about Summer... Parties. So farI've had three. Saturday night I got quite drunk after drinking an excessive amount of alcohol. It was fun though

TWO WEEKS

Oh God. Two weeks. English exam. HELP.
I still need to review my text pieces. OMG!!
I am so nervous, I guess I can only do my best with the little time I have left.
Then its Maths, about 3 days after. Then History 2 days after that which I think I will be prepared for.
Geography is another 4 days afterwards, and then 7 days until Biology. Thank God I have a big gap there, I will need it.

I wanna cry, I've never been so nervous in my life!!!!!!!!!!!

English exam went well. All that panicking for nothing. Wow I now feel embarrassed....

Another Week over!!

Well, it's saturday again!! I miss last Saturday.
Went to an 18th birthday party, food, friends and alcohol!! I somehow forgot my parents where going to be picking me up, so I got insanely drunk. And good news is, there are about 33 photos of me in such a state from last Saturday night! I don't mind though, I had a blast, real good time.
However, apparantly many of the sixth year (older) guys got pissed off at me but really who cares? Good news is all the sixth year girls thought I was "lovely" and most of the people I new there (fifth years, my year) still liked me afterwards as they didn't find my state too annoying. Besides, there were others in such a worse state than me!
Cake was nice too.

Well, this Saturday I'm not going anywhere. I need to study and just chill. One week until Easter Break starts, then I'm off to France for seven days with my parents and bro. Meh...





When something won't come any closer, you just have to reach out a little more and take it for yourself.

MAJOR UPDATE

The English Department made a huge mistake. My grade is no longer a D, but now a B.

Results are as follow;
Biology = B
English = B
Geography = A
History = A
Mathematics = B

RESULTS

Okay. You do two different levels of subjects, Intermediates (lower levels), and Highers (university entrance levels). I do one intermediate (math) as I am rubbish at it. I do four Highers (english,biology, history and geography). Here are the results.

Intermediates:
Maths = B (doesn't really count as it is not university level)

Highers (THESE ONES ARE THE IMPORTANT ONES);
Geography = A
History = A
Biology = B
English = D (not good).


So I'm relatively happy, 'cause if I achieve this for the finals I will stand a fair chance for university providing I work hard next year too.

Well hello again

Its been a good few weeks befor I've written to you, but there's been little to write about so I would've just bored you all.

For once I'm actually looking forward to school on Monday, and thats saying something as my High School isn't the best. There's no pretty girls; there are a lot of boring people; it's situated in one of the most "hillbilly" towns you can ever come across; there is also nothing to do. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it due to the dreaded and long-waited Prelim results. I know they're only Prelims (which gets me more anxious as I'm going to have to put all that work in again) but they are still important.

Anyway, I need to go but I will tell you the news (good news hopefulyl!) on Monday. Until then.

Feburary...

Dark and dismil. Not what I had in mind.

It's not been a good month so far. My father is away so much that I hardly even see him, and being stuck inside just leads to everyone "biting eachothers heads off". I am so bored. However, I am looking forward to the cinema this weekend with my friends. My dad gave me a lot of money as a birthday present as I didn't know what to ask for, so I think I'll just spend that :)

I hope this grey cloud lifts off my shoulders soon.


*Note added 3 March, 2011: How can I be so ungrateful when I have anything I could want? Life here is just fine. I just needed to grow up a bit and realise that. But now I do.

Birthday Boyy

Well everyone, yesterday was my birthday!! It was pretty awesome to be honest, getting my exercise bike soon!! Good to have a break once in a while you know, so thats exactly what I did.
I "slept in" for school so managed to scrape an extra hour sleep *yas*.

so, one year older. Usually I never feel different after a birthday, but now I do. I actually woke up with a bear, overnight just like that!! hahaha, I joke... But I do feel more mature...

and to answer any questions, no I did not get drunk. Surprise there.

Just a small note about hatemail, snow, and everything else! =)

Well, hey everyone! I'll probably sounds like an ideot 'cause I don't even know if anyone is reading this. But blogs are on the rage now (i.e. everyone has one) so I don't really care if I'm the only one to see this.

Anyone heard of Formspring, on Facebook? The amount of hate and abuse you get outta that! Like, it actually makes you feel like you have no friends! Until you found out that it wwas the same person writting these messages the whole time... FAIL.

Anyway, the snow is gone... FML. I snowboard, so this is no the best of news. It rained today and, well most of the snow had left before, washed the rest of the snow away with it. Why 2011 is having a bad start, at least weather wise. It's timeslike these when I wish I was back in Canada, I bet they have loads of snow...

Now, I hope people read this and wonder about my name "Mr Connections". Well, I'm not gonna tell you guys just yet about my choice of display name, but you will find out.

And ten cups of coffee later...

Okay, so here it is. Like any other high school student, I have exams. University entrance exams. This gets me doing like, I don't know, 6 hours studying per day? Which is a lot, be fair. This gets me through roughly, ten cups of coffe, per hour.

Overload.

Right, this gets me super hyper. Like epic levels. So this is the question, could you survive without Caffeine? I know I couldn't. Well at least not in these crucial points in my life.

I do so much studying that the edge of my thumb is dented. That's right, its flat from my pen. Which I use six hours a day... Ouch... But it'll all be worth it, right? I guess I'm just looking for reasurance or support, which I do get! Just, from my parents so they're supposed to do that. Hopefully all this work will pay off... University, here I come!?
